POSITION OVERVIEW

The Dispatch Assistant plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, labelled and dispatched on time. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and an interest in plants or horticulture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Picking plant orders according to dispatch lists.

- Check, and prepare plants for delivery/ collection to ensure accuracy and quality.

- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

- Maintain clean and organized dispatch and loading areas.

- Communicate with the sales and dispatch teams to clarify orders or resolve discrepancies.

- Assist with stock movement and plant maintenance as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Previous nursery experience is essential.

- Ability to work comfortably standing for long periods, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual handling tasks.

- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this role.
