About the Role

This is a fixed‑term position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Parkville Electronic Medical Record (EMR) team. You will be responsible for the design, build, testing, configuration, installation, and support of the EMR Willow functionality.

Classification ranges from Grade 3 Year 3 (SX8) – Grade 3 Year 4 (SX81) with an FTE base salary of $115,518 to $123,905.6 per annum plus superannuation.

What you’ll achieve

- Configure, build, test and perform system maintenance tasks to ensure the EMR application is available, current and well maintained.

- Perform analysis of workflows, enhancement requests and other technical issues associated with the EMR and develop functional and technical solutions that reflect an in‑depth understanding of user requirements.

- Design and build approved EMR Willow application optimisations to ensure that end users are effectively engaged in continuous improvement of the EMR, supporting the delivery of care.

Your skills and experience

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or relevant industry experience spanning 7+ years.

- Advanced skills in workflow review and design with proven ability to deliver solutions that meet end‑user needs.

- Ability to achieve work deadlines, prioritise workload and address competing demands.

- Strong interpersonal skills with particular emphasis on gaining consensus, facilitation and consultation.

Other requirements

- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain one.

- Valid Working with Children Check.

- Compliance with RCH’s Staff Immunisation – Prevention of Vaccine‑Preventable Diseases procedure.

About Parkville Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

The Parkville EMR is a digital partnership between RCH, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, and Parkville Youth Mental Health and Well-Being Service. The Parkville EMR team (employed by RCH) maintains, operates and optimises the Parkville EMR service for the benefit of all five health services, supporting safe, high‑quality, seamless healthcare across Parkville.
