Work with Netball Victoria in an inspiring, high-performance environment
Love sport? Love teaching? Let’s combine both.
We’re on the hunt for a game-changing educator to lead our Netball Victoria Sport & Business Program, delivered in partnership with Netball Victoria. This isn’t your typical classroom teaching role – it’s your chance to inspire young people through sport, leadership, and real-world industry experience.
At SEDA Group, we believe learning should be active, exciting, and real. We partner with top-tier sporting organisations to deliver hands‑on education that helps students develop the skills they need – both on and off the field.
This is more than a teaching job. It’s a chance to shape futures and make an impact, every single day.
What you’ll love about working with us
- Flexible working – Yep, you read that right. We support balance and flexibility. 3 days of face‑to‑face teaching, 1 day of online teaching and 1 day for partner meetings, collaboration & team building, attending expos and even occasional work from home
- An epic workplace – You’ll be based out of the State Netball Centre (think: high‑performance sporting facilities), where inspiration is everywhere.
- Sport meets education – Teach, mentor, and guide students alongside our elite sport and business partners.
- Team vibes – Small, tight‑knit team with big energy. Expect support, laughs, and plenty of collaboration.
- Competitive package – Salary aligned to teaching bands + performance bonuses + all the usual school holidays.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Designing and delivering an engaging, real‑world learning program in partnership with Netball Victoria.
- Creating awesome student experiences that bring the curriculum to life.
- Coaching students through personalised career and development plans.
- Leading strategic industry projects with Netball Victoria (think: real briefs, real outcomes).
- Mentoring students on their next steps – whether that’s study, work, or chasing big dreams.
- Driving a culture of inclusion, respect, and high performance.
- Continually improving the program and spotting new opportunities for growth.
Who you are
You live and breathe sport and education. You’re a confident communicator, a positive role model, and thrive when you’re making an impact. You’re excited by the idea of working alongside Netball Victoria – and bringing your energy into the classroom every day.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualification in Education, PE, Human Movement, Sport, Business or similar.
- Full VIT registration.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) – or willingness to obtain.
- Teaching experience
- Current industry experience in both sports and business (bonus points if it’s in Netball or similar).
- A current driver’s licence and First Aid certification (including CPR).
- A genuine passion for mentoring young people and helping them thrive.
Why SEDA?
At SEDA, we’re changing the game in education. We’re hands‑on, we’re student‑first, and we’re proud to do things differently. If you’re driven, energetic, and ready to help shape the next generation of leaders in sport and business, this is your chance.

If you’re ready to make a difference and be part of something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.

What our people say
After working as a Business Studies and Student Welfare Teacher, I was thrilled to join SEDA’s Sport & Business Program as I am a huge believer in practical education that has job relevance. I often find that deeper learning occurs when students can see the application of concepts in real life and it has been fantastic to work with a sporting partner like Sydney FC to deliver an immersive and practical program to students.”

As a teacher who loves playing sport and being outdoors, I was naturally drawn to SEDA. It provides a unique opportunity to work with adult students in an elite sporting environment, where they gain first‑hand industry experience to pursue careers that they are passionate about. The structure of the program means I play more of a mentoring role and its very rewarding building relationships with students over the duration of the program and supporting them through challenges as they pursue their dreams.”

“I have a broad love of sport and the opportunity to work closely with Melbourne Victory and other sporting partners was a real drawcard for me. After teaching years 11 and 12 with SEDA Colleges I was excited to make the transition to the Sport & Business Program where I could work with young adults and guide them on their individual journeys”
