Business Development Manager

The role involves working in high value strategic projects and contracts within Aerospace, Maritime and Land applications dealing with Commonwealth Agencies, SPO's and CASG with contacts right up to Director level. The ideal candidate will understand and have experience with either SATCOM, Battle Management, ROIP/VOIP TACCOM systems and their employment and integration into established capabilites / networks.
The role:
- Identify and convert business opportunities
- A traceable history in delivery
- A proven background in sales
- A minimum of 15 years Business Development experience.
- Have a traceable win history
- Excellent communications skills and relationships development ability
- Thrive in developing existing markets as well as targeting new markets.
- Passionate about winning and developing new business.
- The ability to speak to senior decision makers with confidence.
- Candidates will hold an AGSVA issued NV1 as a minimum
The candidate will work alongside Capability Managers and Fleet Managers, this fast, dynamic and fluid environment requires an individual who can inspire confidence and communicate reliability at all levels. You will be responsible for contributing towards an international (APAC) and national strategy liaising with customers throughout communicating your knowledge of the industry and solidifying their excellent reputation in this market.
