The Client

Join this dynamic and progressive boutique firm on the south side of Sydney and use your previous experience in a senior accounting or managerial position. Our client holds an experienced team of approximately 15 staff and one director. Most of the team works 100% remotely and they have support from a strong offshore team.

The Role

Work closely with the partner and the rest of the team and take responsibility of a client portfolio. This is an extremely varied role where CFO Advisory is a large aspect of the work as well as Tax & Business Services.

Duties may involve:

- Be responsible for a client portfolio in various industries
- Complete or coordinate the completion/ review of statutory compliance work, including the following:
- Financial Statements
- Income tax returns and schedules
- Company secretarial requirements
- Business Activity Statements
- Be responsible for the development of solutions and providing advice
- Analyse client's performance for year-end tax planning
- Review and prepare management accounts
- Oversee more junior staff and review work

The Applicant

- 4-6+ years' experience in Business Services & Tax
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
- CA/CPA qualification in place or in the process of attaining
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
