Perth Airport is seeking an IT Systems and Surveillance Specialist to maintain and support vital technical systems, including surveillance, digital radio communications, call points, and control centre communications platforms.

What you'll do:

- Plan, provision, maintain, and support critical IT systems, including surveillance, digital radio communications, call points, and audiovisual technologies.
- Provide a responsive service for request fulfilment, fault management, and incident resolution.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and risk management frameworks while overseeing vendor and contractor adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot surveillance infrastructure, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related hardware.
- Manage and support digital radio services by conducting fault investigations, coordinating installations, and reviewing system performance reports.
- Maintain the call point infrastructure, ensuring an integrated and reliable help, emergency assistance, and information dissemination system.
- Accurately record and manage IT assets, software licenses, and stock to ensure operational readiness.
- Contribute to capital enhancement projects by assisting in asset lifecycle management, vendor selection, and system upgrades.
- Play a key role in cyber security by ensuring compliance with patching policies, security hardening standards, and incident monitoring procedures.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field Electronics and Communications preferred
- Experience with computer networking, video systems, and related software.
- A strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical faults efficiently.
- Organised and methodical approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and process compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inform and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
- The ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail.
- A commitment to safety, ethics, and values in delivering solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
