Position Overview
Air Tickets, a Helloworld Travel Group Company, is seeking a full-time Technical Support Services Co-Ordinator to join the Air Tickets Business Systems team in our South Melbourne Head Office.
Technical Support Services (TSS) are the intermediary between Air Tickets Operations, Refunds, Accounts, Sales, and the Air Tickets Development team for any technical queries relating to the production of airline tickets.
As a member of the Helloworld Travel Group, working at Air Tickets will provide you the opportunity to be part of Australia's leading integrated travel businesses. The group encompasses travel brands providing franchised retail services, wholesale products, specialist government and corporate business travel, and ticket distribution services across multiple countries.
What You're Accountable For?
Reporting directly to the Technical Support Services Manager, you will be a key member of the team that provides:
1. Daily customer technical support via email, chat, and/or phone.
2. Liaise with internal/external customers along with GDS and Airline partners to solve problems.
3. Customer onboarding of online solutions including GDS setup.
4. Obtain airline rules and policies to maintain multiple validation and reference tables.
5. Analysis and reporting of system issues for continuous system improvement.
6. Maintain clue cards and standard operating procedural documents.
Required Experience and Prerequisites
In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess:
1. Year 12 high school equivalency
2. Certificate/Completion of Fares and Ticketing I & II
3. Experience in Global Distribution Systems: Travelport, Amadeus, Sabre.
4. Minimum 5 years' experience in the Travel Industry.
5. High competency level of fares & ticketing

1. Ability to solve problems professionally and efficiently whilst adhering to company policies.
2. Ability to communicate with your co-workers in a professional and understanding manner.
3. Good organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
4. Must be proactive, take initiative and work with minimal supervision, autonomously and as part of a team.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word & Excel.
6. You must have full Australian Working Rights.
