About the role

Ventia is seeking a qualified Carpenters tooperate across the Defence sites for planned, reactive, remedial and ad-hoc maintenance activities. Other duties can include, performing skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of building fabric. As well as, conducting minor projects and fit outs, renovation, maintenance of structures, features and furnishings as required.

About you

- Certificate III in Carpentry
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a carpenter, working with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance
- Hold a valid white card
- Demonstrated experience in time critical rectification and reporting
- Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans
- You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably. You follow established procedures, actively look out for your teammates, and understand that safety is a shared responsibility. You contribute to a culture where safety incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported promptly and constructively.
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police
