The Opportunity

The Family Support Team are the customer service specialists of G8 Education, playing a pivotal role in the acquisition and support of new families joining G8’s network of 430+ Centres and 21 brands.

This is a Full-Time opportunity until 31st of October 2026.

If selected for this exciting call centre opportunity, you will be responsible for the following:

- Deliver high quality customer service in a high-volume contact centre environment, servicing families between 7am-7pm Monday to Friday

- Support families over the phone, live chat and via email, providing initial advice on the G8 early learning centre that will suit their needs and arranging centre tours

- Outbound calls to assist families through the early learning and care enrolment process to ensure our families are ready to start in centre

- Record and maintain our customer enquiries database within our CRM

- Understanding and application of G8 Education policy, legislation, the Federal Government’s childcare subsidy and associated processes to effectively respond to customer needs

- Work across multiple technology platforms and databases

- Identify and elevate complex enquiries

- Liaise with our centre network to enhance the quality of support provided to our families and centres

About You

To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:

- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a customer service role, previous contact centre experience highly regarded.

- A genuine interest / passion for early education and childcare

- Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases

- Strong customer service and relationship building skill‑set

- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a high-volume environment.

- Able to work on a 38-hour rotating roster, available to work any shift between the hours of Monday to Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm

- Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
