A leading Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their development team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver innovative solutions across the national health sector, contributing to high-impact systems and applications. The successful Senior Software Developer will be engaged for an initial 12-month contract with the option to extend for up to two additional years, working in a hybrid arrangement based in Canberra.

The successful Senior Software Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Designing and developing software solutions using best practice methods to meet business needs.

Integrating software across multiple platforms and environments in the health sector.

Building effective relationships and negotiating outcomes with stakeholders.

Supporting ongoing system improvements and security practices aligned with the Information Security Manual (ISM).

The successful Senior Software Developer will have experience in the following:

Programming languages: C#, PowerShell.

Databases: SQL, T-SQL.

Microsoft Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, GitHub Advanced Security).
