Key Responsibilities

- Your day-to-day duties will look like;
- Operational finance focus with constant liaison and business support provided to the Financial Controller, General Manager and Department Managers;
- Profit & Loss reporting, General Ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, preparations and submission of reporting packages;
- Manage internal controls to ensure compliance
- Adhere to all payroll controls, wages and salaries disbursement procedure including compliance with the various award provisions applicable, visa restrictions of staff and tax legislation;
- Take part in the various financial planning and analysis activities of the hotel, such as budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis including daily and monthly management statistics;

Skills & Experience

- Hotel finance experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent computer & excel skills with knowledge of Opera & Sun System an advantage
- Strong time management skills / ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
