ABOUT THIS ROLE

Kinexus are looking to add a recruitment professional to our team who will work onsite within one of the most prolific companies within the Defence sector. The portfolio includes the biggest projects in Defence across the LAND, SEA, AIR and Cyber domains.

This is an internal role for a company that is continuing to expand, so recruitment plays a big part in their vision. They have a well-developed EVP coupled with access to the most technologically advanced projects in Australia, including projects in the National Security and SPACE Sectors.

As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will be tasked with supporting the recruitment for both ICT and Engineering roles. Importantly, you will be working to support the growth of Key projects in the Defence sector and, in turn, the growth of Defence Capability.

This is an opportunity to grow your recruitment skills to the next level. You will be working within a supportive and dynamic on-site team as part of an RPO that is recognised internally for its recruitment excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identifying talent across Defence, engineering and ICT
2. Source candidates nationally into a broad range of Defence ICT & Engineering projects
3. Partner with Business managers to create recruitment strategies in line with current needs
4. Work with bid teams to provide HR input and SME on availability of personnel
5. Work with line managers to interview and identify talent through a broad referral network
6. Support a great company to grow capability across Australia
7. Work as part of a great HR team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

1. 2 years + of experience in Recruitment within Australia
2. A passion for defence and the technical world
3. Excellent organisational skills
4. Outcome focused
5. Strong understanding of the recruitment process
6. The ability to think outside the box
7. A great sense of humour
