Permanent Full-time (38 hours per week) and Part-time (34 hours per week) available. Part-time schedules are 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Monday to Friday, plus an extra 4 hours on a Saturday every fortnight.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, using empathy and a drive to deliver great customer service and quality healthcare.

- Collect samples (blood and non‑blood) with care and attention

- Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample

- Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times

- Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing

- Liaise with customers, clinic staff and couriers

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

To succeed, you should be an experienced Pathology Collector, have a Cert III in Pathology Collection or be looking to enter the field. A Registered Nurse seeking regular daytime shifts may also be suitable. No experience is required if you have a customer service focus and healthcare background; we will provide paid training and mentoring. Bring the right attitude and interest and we will bring the rest.

Attributes and skills you would possess include:

- Experience or knowledge in Phlebotomy/ Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background

- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with high empathy

- Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail

- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic

- Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics

- Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one

- Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen or valid visa permitting work

- Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role

- Other vaccinations based on location may be required
