About the Role:
Join our dynamic Mobile Maintenance team at Newman Operations, situated in the Pilbara Region on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Due to Capability Growth within the Workshop Team, we are now looking to employ additional Staff on a permanent basis.
As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our operations, working with both breakdown and planned maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop based Position, 8/6/7/7 Roster
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on heavy diesel equipment.
- Diagnose, repair, and refurbish engines and components, primarily on CAT 793F Trucks and CAT 785 Watercarts.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

About You
- Ability to commit to 8 days on, 6 days off, followed by 7 nights on, 7 nights off, with FIFO arrangements from Perth
- Previous experience in mining or a transferrable industry with larger sized earthmoving equipment preferred
- Knowledge of CAT engines is desirable
- Experience in maintaining and diagnosing mobile equipment is highly regarded
- Team-focused, with a strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
