We are looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help us grow our business.**Job Description****Job Summary: Truck Driver and Operator** is responsible for the safe loading, transport, and delivery of products, while performing pre-operational crane inspections and maintenance. Ensures work areas remain clean and organized, and consistently upholds all health and safety regulations. Supports additional operational tasks as needed.**Compensation:** $30-35/hr**Benefits*** Health Insurance (includes Virtual Health, and HCSA)* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* Life Insurance* Long-term Disability* Short-term Disability* RRSP Match* Paid Vacation* Employee Assistance Program* Employee Engagement Events* Awards and Recognition* Tuition reimbursement* Service Awards* Employee Perks & Discounts**Job Responsibilities*** Safely load, move and deliver product* Perform pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, clean and lubricate the crane* Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks* Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation* Other duties as required**Qualifications*** *Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 3 CDL and ability to provide current drivers abstract (West)** *Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ/DZ license and clean driving abstract (East)** Load securement training (can be provided)* Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)* First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)* Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)* Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred* Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly* Strong customer service skills* Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset* Authorized to work in Canada**Benefits of Employment:** Roofmart recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
