Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for Fitters / Plant Mechanics on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project is working a 14:7 roster, 12 hour shifts which may include days/nights rotating .
The successful candidate will:
- Mechanical Maintenance of underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos.
- Reading and working onHydraulic Schematic drawings, Pneumatic Systems, Lubrication Systems
- Monitor sensors, grease, oil and other ancillary systems
- Responsible for identifying any and all mechanical safety and technical hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordingly
- Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks as well as extraordinary maintenance over the above listed equipment.
- Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plans
- Liaising with the rest of the Plant & Equipment Team for planning of ongoing and future works
- Provide support to production team, for trouble shooting and preventative maintenance
You must currently hold the following tickets/licences:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Drivers licence – HR preferable
- High risk work licence – Forklift, EWP, DG
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- General Construction Induction training (white card)
- Right to work in Australia
- Be able to pass medical and a criminal history check
