About Oral Health Victoria

Oral Health Victoria (formerly Dental Health Services Victoria) is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. About the role

We are seeking a permanent part-time Orderly Attendant to join our diverse, close-knit Central Sterile Services team at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. A critical role to RDHM’s operations, if you enjoy being busy, have great people skills and value supporting others, this could be the job for you

Your key responsibilities

- Transporting clinical instruments from the clinics to the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) for sterilisation/processing via trolleys.

- Assemble and package surgical instrument trays in accordance with hospital standards, as required.

- Cleaning handheld clinical equipment.

- Ensuring infection control of trolleys and related equipment.

- Transport medically stable patients through areas of the hospitals as needed.

- You are highly organised and work efficiently in a structured environment.

- You thrive under pressure and can remain focused during busy periods.

- You have a friendly, professional manner and a strong focus on customer service.

- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of infection control practices will be highly regarded.
