About the role

We are seeking experienced Excavator/Drill Fitters looking for a permanent opportunity to join our dynamic maintenance team in Collinsville.

Our teams deliver mining excellence, with uncompromising safety and environmental standards and we’re looking forward to continuing our long-term relationships across our mine sites.

As an Excavator/Drill Fitter,you willbe requiredto:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on excavators and drills to ensure optimal functionality and safety
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform troubleshooting, and execute necessary repairs.
- Perform scheduled servicing and inspections according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace parts, components, and systems as needed to maintain equipment performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimal equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

About you

- Mechanical/Diesel Fitting trade qualification
- Proven experience as an Excavator/Drill Fitter or similar role in the construction or mining industry
- Enthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethic
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and culture
- Current Drivers Licence
