Overview

HD Drill Fitter – 8/6 roster (days only) back-to-back, FIFO from Perth with paid travel. Meals, accommodation and flights provided. Fitter's vehicle provided. Town-based job.

HMR is a national contractor providing surface and underground diamond drilling, raisebore and mining services across Australia. We need highly motivated and enthusiastic HD Drill Fitters for projects in Western Australia.

What to expect from the job

- Maintain a fleet of underground LM90 diamond drills and surface diamond drills.
- Attend to breakdowns and complete repairs and preventative maintenance work.

Responsibilities

- Repair, service and maintain drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and coordinate with site teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements on all sites.
- Record and report maintenance activities and faults.

Essentials / Qualifications

- The ability to pass a Drug Screen, Medical and Police clearance is required.
- Australian or NZ residents – Full working rights in Australia.
- Manual C Class Driver’s License.
- 5+ years experience as a Drill Fitter.
- Hydraulic diagnostic skills.
