Oakhill College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed RE Teacher to join our vibrant and collaborative RE Faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that values academic excellence, student engagement, and faith-based learning. The position will commence in January 2026.

Requirements of the role

- Proven experience teaching Religious Education (RE) across Stages 4-5 and the ability to teach SOR (2 unit)
- Planning and implementing effective teaching and innovative pedagogical practices
- Providing a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students
- Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning
- Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages preferred however not essential
- Working collaboratively in a Religious Education Faculty
- Ability to implement new syllabus
- Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
- Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning
