We're working with an internationally renowned specialist contractor that delivers innovative foundation engineering solutions across civil infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors. With a strong pipeline of projects and a focus on technical excellence, they are seeking a Site Engineer to join their high-performing team in Melbourne.

As a Site Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in the planning, delivery, and oversight of specialist geotechnical and foundation works on active sites. Working closely with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and the broader delivery team, you will ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to spec.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the planning and execution of piling, diaphragm wall, or ground improvement works
- Preparing method statements, lift plans, QA documentation, and daily site reporting
- Coordinating subcontractors and engaging with clients and consultants
- Monitoring HSEQ standards and ensuring compliance on-site
- Assisting with procurement, site setup, and logistics
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- 2-4+ years of experience in a similar role (ideally in piling, foundations, or ground engineering)
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Strong safety awareness and a willingness to work on-site in varying conditions
- Full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence
Bonus Points For:
- Practical knowledge of CFA, D-walls, anchoring, or other ground engineering techniques
- Familiarity with QA processes, ITPs, and geotechnical testing
- Desire to grow into a Project Engineer or Project Manager role
