Exciting opportunities have opened up for Casual Physiotherapists to join the Allied Health Team at The Hills Private Hospital. Seeking Physiotherapists with ability to work weekdays.
The Hills Private Hospital is a private hospital with 86 inpatient rehabilitation beds, 25 inpatient mental health beds and a Day Program. We currently offer Orthopaedic, Neurological, Reconditioning, Cardiac and Amputee Rehabilitation Programs. Applicants must be flexible, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To undertake full clinical responsibility for the physiotherapy diagnosis, assessment and treatment of a designated clinical load of patients undergoing rehabilitation.
2. Adhere to the ethical principles of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
3. Liaise with multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and therapy time tabling.
4. Attendance / feedback of information at case conference and family conferences.
Selection Criteria:
1. Current registration with AHPRA.
2. Previous experience in Neurological Rehabilitation setting desirable.
3. Hydrotherapy experience necessary (MUST be able to swim).
4. Sound clinical judgement and clinical reasoning skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication.
6. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Superior time management and organisational skills.
