Practice Information:
The practice services the northern communities of Rollingstone, Mystic Sands and Balgal Beach, Mutarnee, Bambaroo, Crystal Creek, Toobanna, Paluma, and as far north as Ingham and Cardwell.
DPA Established medical practice with mixed billing, allied health and support staff. The medical centre is GPA accredited and fully computerised using Best Practice software. The practice incorporates a 3 bed treatment room, 4 consulting rooms, a Pharmacy and Pathology service on site. Visiting allied health include Psychology, Physiotherapy and Dietitian.
Team of experienced nurses cover all opening hours.
Balgal Beach is located 58 klms and a 35 minute drive north of Townsville in North Queensland in the suburb of Balgal Beach. Balgal Beach is a rural and farming area with Australian bush on one side and the Coral Sea on the other. Balgal Beach Medical Practice opened in 2016 in a purpose built practice to service the local population of almost 1000 people.
Position Description
Full time or part time General Practitioners needed. NO obstetrics or anaesthetic skills necessary, but special skills or interests are welcome. High percentage of earnings. Structured teaching program for OTD’s preparing for FRACGP is provided by practice principal.
Remuneration earnings will be 60% of gross billings or guaranteed $3,000.00 per week for first three (3) months.
After Hours: All After Hours services are provided by practice Principal.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years medical work experience
- AHPRA registration
