With decades of hands-on experience in civil, roads, concrete, drainage, and kerb & gutter works, we bring deep industry knowledge and a practical approach to every project. Our expert team works across Sydney and NSW, delivering reliable, high-quality results from design through to delivery. We've partnered with a wide range of clients including local councils, government bodies, and private developers building strong relationships through trust, value, and performance. We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

·Undertake in-depth analysis of tender documentation, engineering plans, and project specifications to develop comprehensive and competitive cost estimates.

·It will be an advantage if candidate have prior experience and knowledge with local council standards, NSW planning regulations and approvals and geotechnical implications on costs and methodologies while preparing the estimates and bids.

·Knowledge in construction activity process flow and NSW health and safety regulations.

·Should have good knowledge and experience in preparation of accurate, and professional tender documentation, supported by detailed construction methodologies after checking cost databases, industry benchmarks and resource plans.

·Prior experience in internal tender evaluations, cost analysis, and risk assessments

·Should be a good team member with good communication skills to engage with senior estimators, project managers, and key stakeholders during bid preparation.

·Conduct site inspections to evaluate access, logistical challenges, existing infrastructure, and potential risks that may impact project delivery and cost outcomes.

·Should have prior knowledge to utilize advanced estimating tools and software (such as Bluebeam, Benchmark, and 12D) to produce accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs), take-offs, and pricing models.

·candidate need to have existing knowledge of full compliance with Work Health & Safety (WH&S) under construction industry

·Experience with good understanding of quality assurance, and environmental management standards across all construction engineering activity.

·Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to obtain quotations, validate pricing structures, and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

·Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management (or equivalent).

·Minimum 2 years experience in civil estimating, ideally within Australian infrastructure projects.

·Strong knowledge of local construction codes, standards, and pricing trends.

·Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Cubit, Buildsoft, CostX) and Microsoft Excel.

·Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

·Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
