As a Support Worker at Club Aruma, your primary goal will be to provide compassionate personal care and support to individuals in various settings, including Clubhouse locations, their homes, and the community.
A Day in the Life of a Support WorkerYour role will involve creating joyful experiences and fostering meaningful relationships for people with disabilities. You will connect them with shared hobbies and interests, lead engaging activities, and help them explore their communities.
- Connect People through Shared Interests: We match individuals with shared passions and hobbies, building lasting friendships.
- Lead Engaging Activities: Facilitate arts sessions, sports games, or group outings that promote social interaction and fun.
- Be a Guide: Help people navigate their communities and participate in events aligned with their interests.
- Foster Belonging: Create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and connected.
- Celebrate Growth: Recognize milestones, offer encouragement, and support individuals in achieving their goals.
