About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Spray Painter to join either our AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Colour mix and match vehicle after it has been prepared and is scheduled for painting.
2. Build and maintain colour library.
3. Prep, prime, and paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process.
4. Buff and denib vehicle.
5. Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
6. Notate any extra paint work required that is not quoted for.
7. Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to production manager.
8. Clean work bay and workshop areas.
9. Coach apprentices when required.
About You:
1. Trade qualified Spray Painter.
2. Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter.
3. Strong commitment to work in a safe manner.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. High attention to detail.
6. Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
7. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
8. Be reliable, punctual & hardworking.
9. Own tools to fulfil the role.

6. Junior-Mid experienced tradesperson: $60-$80k.
7. Mid-Senior tradesperson: $80k-$100k.
