Join Optus as a Distribution Account Manager and play a pivotal role in driving growth through our channel partners. In this strategic position, you’ll manage relationships with key distributors, lead pricing and incentive discussions, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, fostering collaboration across internal teams and partners to deliver exceptional results and accelerate market success.

Your Day Will Consist Of

- Managing day-to-day relationships with distributors and serving as their primary point of contact.

- Leading pricing, commission, and rebate discussions to support revenue targets.

- Monitoring and reporting on weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance against objectives.

- Developing and executing strategic account and territory plans for distributors.

- Coordinating quarterly business reviews and ensuring alignment with Optus’ roadmap and priorities.

- Driving sales enablement and certification programs for distributors and channel partners.

What Makes You Perfect For The Role

- 7–10 years of relationship sales management experience within IT or Telecommunications, with at least 3 years in a distribution-focused role.

- 10–15 years in strategic selling environments via distribution or Tier 2 channel partners.

- Proven track record in achieving growth through channel strategies and building long-term business relationships.

- Strong ability to develop and execute strategic business plans and drive partner engagement.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing executive-level relationships.

- In-depth knowledge of Optus offerings, competitive products, and industry trends.

- Tertiary qualification in a business discipline.

- Ability to manage forecasts, reporting, and operational aspects of distributor relationships effectively.
