Mechanical Supervisor

Work. Lead with purpose Reporting to the Trades Coordinator, you’ll lead a dedicated team, overseeing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities that keep operations running smoothly. Your leadership will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

You’ll foster a culture of excellence, ensuring all work complies with Environmental and Regulatory requirements, Workplace Health and Safety protocols, and Sunwater’s policies and procedures. But it’s not just about performance - it’s about people.

In this role, you’ll also:

- Oversee subcontractor activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery
- Champion Health & Safety by leading team interactions, supporting audits, and assisting with incident investigations
- Guide Trades staff in diagnosing maintenance issues, identifying risks, and implementing effective solution

We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor who leads with confidence and inspires performance. You’ll bring a proven ability to motivate teams, navigate shifting priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Your collaborative mindset, adaptability, and strong leadership will be key to driving operational excellence.

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Minimum 5 years’ post-trade experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong administrative and digital skills, ideally with experience in SAP or similar systems
- A Rigger’s ticket (preferred but not essential)

This role comes with a competitive and rewarding benefits package including base salary starting from $109,916.86, a standard 38hr work week, access to TOIL, 12.75% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading and a genuine emphasis on work/life balance.
