Overview

About the role

This is a Temp to Perm welder position with our client located in Darra. As a Fabricator Welder (MIG & TIG), you will be responsible for carrying out welding tasks using various techniques to produce top-notch metal components and structures.

What you'll be doing

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal materials and thicknesses
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate welding
- Prepare and assemble metal components for welding
- Operate and maintain welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects
- Identify and rectify any issues or defects in the welded components
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards

What we/'re looking for

- Proven experience as a fabricator welder, with a strong understanding of MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to do seamless welding to a high standard
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Current welding certifications or qualifications (desirable but not essential)
