Volunteering at Marcellin College
Marcellin College values the integral role Volunteers play in supporting our young men during their time at the College. The Volunteers in our community have established a proud link between families, students and the College which continues to provide enormous benefits. Child Safety
Nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of the young men in our care. As a child safe school we have established a rigorous online automated process for collecting volunteer information which complies with National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, Ministerial Order 1359 and Catholic Education Guidelines. Our Child Safeguarding Policy and Marist Child Safe Adult Code of Conduct are also available on the College website.
What are the Volunteering Opportunities?
There are many wonderful Volunteer opportunities offered at Marcellin College and we would like to welcome you to join our enthusiastic cohort of Volunteers.
All Volunteers (including parents) at Marcellin College must have a valid Volunteer Working with Children Check (WWC Check).
Prior to commencing your application, you will need to obtain a Volunteer WWC Check nominating Marcellin College as your volunteer organisation. This can be obtained via the following link.
If you already have a WWC Check, simply login and update your details on the WWC Check website and select the change details option and edit the organisation to include Marcellin College.
After completing this, you can commence the Volunteer application process by clicking the APPLY button.
Please note only online applications will be accepted.
If your application is approved, you are required to support the completion of an online reference check via the My Recruitment platform. These can be friends, relatives or members within your community.
