The School Holiday Camp Leader is a fun and exciting role where you will be the camp leader to youth. You will be assisting your participant in engaging with others, engaging into the activity, and most importantly, having fun

As a Summer School Holiday Camp Leader, you will have the honour of being a mentor,advocate, and friend to young people living with disabilities for the duration of a School Holiday Camp. Your primary role will be to ensure their safety and well-being, while also empowering them to make friends, build independence, learn new skills, and celebrate their unique identities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these extraordinary individuals during their school holiday break.

Online training modules and a face-to-face induction.

Time required

During camp (camps run from 3 - 5 days). We separate our camps into different age groups (Kids, Teens, and Young Adults). You will be helping out on the camp for the full duration of the camp.

Access to all activities, accommodation, food, transport (from meeting point) is completely free. Ca

A heart for building friendships, fostering independence, and promoting self-celebration.Due to working with young vulnerable people, all volunteers require a Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Check. As a volunteer, you can receive these checks at a heavily subsidised cost. If you need assistance obtaining these checks, the Volunteer Coordinators can assist you with obtaining these.No experience is required. We just want volunteers who are passionatein working with others.
