As a Lead Engineer, you’ll bring significant software and data engineering experience and apply best practices as you develop new platform features, data pipelines, and solve a varied range of technical problems. You will also play a critical role with our operational and business stakeholders. You’ll have excellent Python knowledge to write, review, and test code as well as excellent solution architecture, design, and engineering leadership skills.

- Previous experience supporting or leading a team of developers
- A track record of project ownership, successful delivery, and working with stakeholders
- Excellent hands-on coding ability in Python and able to review Python code
- A broad knowledge of technical solutions, design patterns, and code for medium/complex applications deployed in a clustered environment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Strong experience with SQL, authoring complex queries, and Data Definition Language (DDL)
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Working knowledge of API-based integration for modern systems
- Experience querying big data, using tools like Redshift, Hive, Spark, Presto, etc.
- Experience with Data Pipelines Orchestration tools like Airflow or Argo Workflows
- Experience with Source control in Bitbucket or similar
- Exposure to security concepts and best practices
- Experience working in banking or energy trading environment is highly regarded.
