About the Role

As the Nurse Unit Manager – Renal Dialysis, you will use your advanced clinical knowledge and leadership skills to coordinate and oversee the delivery of patient care within the renal dialysis unit. Your responsibilities include managing and mentoring nursing and multidisciplinary staff, ensuring continuity and quality of care, and driving team performance. You will also address inconsistencies between practice and policy, foster a positive workplace culture, and support the implementation of best practice standards.

About You

- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.

- Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.

- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.

- Experience in management and leadership roles.

- Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
