About

an Internationally-operating law firm is looking for a Corporate/Transactional Senior Associate to place at their Melbourne office. The successful candidate will work with clients in the Australian energy sector alongside the senior partners and will have a passion to help transition toward a net zero future.

Requirements

- Minimum 4 Years PQE of M&A exposure in Transactional/Corporate Law.

- An interest in renewable and sustainable energy is advantageous.

- Excellent communication skills and professional acumen.

- Attention to detail - Proficient Research, Analytical and Drafting skills.

- Readily able to manage client expectations and motivated to provide excellent client service.

- Ability to manage many documents and tasks simultaneously.

- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Your Responsibilities

- Work on M&A, joint venturing, investment, and project development transactions with the Corporate and Projects team, reporting to the senior partner.

- Advise a broad range of domestic and international clients involved in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

- Work with your team to advise internationally reputable asset managers and investors regarding the Australian Energy Sector.
