JPJ Audio has been at the forefront of live sound for decades, delivering world-class audio solutions for concerts, festivals, and broadcast events across the country. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Repair Technician to join our Sydney team.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis of professional audio equipment — from amplifiers, mixing consoles, and wireless systems to digital signal processing racks and power distribution. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, initiative, and a deep understanding of live sound gear.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair electronic faults in audio production equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance, calibration, and testing of audio gear
- Work closely with warehouse and engineering teams to ensure gear reliability
- Document repairs, modifications, and test results accurately
- Support in-house projects and equipment upgrades
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety

About You

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics repair, ideally within pro audio, broadcast, or touring environments
- Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
- Skilled in reading schematics, using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering tools
- Familiarity with leading brands of professional audio equipment
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail and time management
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
