Overview

NLS is NSW's number-one provider of Gymnastics Coaches/Instructors for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils. We have positions across Sydney, with a current focus in the Penrith area. We are looking for Gymnastics Coaches/Instructors to join us in delivering gymnastics programs across primary education centres. All coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. We are seeking someone with a good level of experience who can provide children with a thorough gymnastics experience.

Schedule

Available positions include morning (6.30 AM – 9 AM), in-school (9 AM – 3 PM) and after-school (3 PM – 5 PM). Both midweek and weekend work are available. We are looking for sports coaches to join our team.

Qualifications & Experience

- Sports coaching/playing experience
- PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Coaching
- Attend and conduct all training sessions
- Attend and facilitate all competition games (if required)
- Being reliable and organized

Additional Skills & Abilities

- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate clearly with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents/guardians
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
- Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
