Quarry Operator – Aerolite (Anakie, VIC)

Aerolite is currently seeking an experienced Quarry Operator to join their dynamic, successful team based at Anakie, VIC. Duties include, but not limited to: mobile plant operation including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator; carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment; complete daily pre-start checks on plant; participate in daily toolbox talks; develop a thorough understanding of Aerolite WHS policies and procedures; follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Responsibilities

- Mobile plant operation including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
- Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment
- Complete daily pre-start checks on plant
- Participate in daily toolbox talks
- Develop a thorough understanding of Aerolite WHS policies and procedures
- Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor

Required skills and experience

- Various plant experience including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
- Driver’s license and White Card
- Experience working in a quarry environment
- Relevant RII tickets (not essential)
- Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing)
