Key Responsibilities

- Conducting original and high-quality research within key departmental focus areas, securing external research funding, publishing in leading academic journals, and supervising Masters and PhD students.

- Designing and delivering engaging and effective teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, developing innovative curricula and e-learning materials, and supporting strong academic outcomes for students.

- Contributing to the collegial, intellectual, and professional life of the department and university through committee participation, leadership in academic events, and active engagement with industry and community partners.

Qualifications

Level B (Lecturer)

- Are completing, or near completion of a PhD in Marketing.

- Have emerging high-quality research, evidenced by submissions to leading journals or working papers.

- Can teach undergraduate and master's subjects in priority areas.

- Participate in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.

- Are committed to excellent teaching and fostering a collegial environment.

- Hold a completed PhD in Marketing.

- Demonstrate strong research with an ongoing program, including publications in reputable journals and the capability to publish in top journals.

- Have experience teaching a broad range of undergraduate and master's subjects in priority areas.

- Engage actively in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.

- Promote excellence in teaching and student achievement through collegial collaboration.

Level D (Associate Professor)

- Hold a completed PhD in Marketing.

- Have an internationally recognised research record with publications in top-ranked journals and presentations at international conferences.

- Contribute significantly to research, teaching, and departmental objectives.

- Mentor and supervise graduate students.

- Secure research funding from competitive grants or other sources.

- Provide leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and academic engagement.

- Collaborate effectively and contribute to the strategic goals of the Department.
