Responsibilities

- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area

- Sort and place stock or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to Perfection’s standards

- Open bales, crates, and other containers

- Collecting stock orders, printing requests, and record items received or distributed through a computer

- Assist in counting of physical stock

- Prepare parcels for mailing

- Organise warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

- Communicate with drivers to ensure safe docking

- Check off stock as per transport paperwork

- Check off pallet count as per paperwork

- Record & communicate any discrepancies in paperwork (communicate to Warehouse Manager and Forklift Operators)

- Label all Incoming stock with a date code and GRN label

- Be vigilant at all times that the correct stock has been picked and loaded for despatch

- Print out daily orders for picking, and prioritise workload accordingly

- Ensuring orders are picked according to customer specifications (pick, re-pack, stack, and label)

- Print out all required labels to meet customer specification

- Check stock quality is acceptable for customer orders and communicate any issues to the Warehouse Manager

- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat

- Wear the required PPE (Personal protective equipment)

- Respond to communications for the market sales team for late orders and stock top-ups

- Locate stock, record product type, and communicate to the Forklift Operator and Warehouse Manager

- Deliver stock to stores and shops if required

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience and Qualifications

There is no qualification required for this role although a High School Diploma or equivalent would be preferred.

- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred

- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills

- Dependable and reliable

- Equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required
