Your Role

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on National Store Operations Manager to shape the future of our Dulux Trade store network. Based in Clayton, this leadership role is pivotal in driving team culture, national programs execution, operational excellence, and commercial performance across multiple channels—including Dulux Trade Centres, PaintSpot, Fosroc and RTP/RTC stores.

You’ll lead a high-impact national support team across store development, logistics, merchandising, and process improvement, while delivering on key financial and operational targets. This role blends strategic thinking with deep operational expertise and is ideal for someone with a strong background in network strategy, category management, store design and team leadership.

Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership & Network Development: Drive the development and execution of the national trade store network strategy

- Operational Excellence & Financial Performance: Deliver on key financial and operational targets, including sales and profitability budgets

- Inventory, Merchandising & Category Management: Lead a high-performing national support team operating as a unified network.

- In-Store Experience & Design Innovation: Set the benchmark for industry-leading in-store experiences. Oversee the design and execution of new store fit-outs and upgrades.

- Network Standards & Service Delivery: Establish and uphold operational standards across the store network.

Skills & Experience

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Economics, Business, or Marketing

- Strategic thinking and category/merchandise management

- Store operations, fixed cost control, and credit processes

- Financial management and distribution experience

- Coaching, team development, and people leadership

- Strong written communication and verbal presentation skills
