About the Position
The Retail Manager role at Jiana Fuel and Convenience Pty Ltd is pivotal in driving the daily success of our service station, overseeing all retail operations from fuel dispensing and inventory management to the commercial kitchen's output. This position serves as the operational heartbeat, ensuring seamless service delivery while implementing strategies that enhance profitability and customer loyalty in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Oversee staff performance, including selection, training, and supervision, while preparing daily rosters to ensure smooth operations.
Manage inventory and fuel supplies, optimising stock levels to minimise waste and meet demand.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, workplace standards, and food handling protocols.
Strategise product mix and service standards, formulating and implementing purchasing, pricing, and marketing policies for efficient and profitable management.
Promote and advertise the establishment's goods and services to attract and retain customers.
Sell goods and services to customers, providing advice on product use and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions, while undertaking budgeting for the establishment.
Requirements
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Diploma in Retail or Business.
Minimum of at least 1 year of experience as a Retail Manager.
Strong technical skills in inventory management systems, budgeting, and compliance with safety regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, team motivation, and customer-facing communication.
