About the role

Our Workers Compensation group has a fantastic opportunity foran Associate up to Senior Associate level to join their team inPerth. The team is led by Partners who are ranked by Doyle’sGuide and Best Lawyers as Leading and Recommended Lawyers.

As a member of this high-volume practice, you will work closelywith a Partner and other senior lawyers on matters and have themanagement of files from start to finish.

Some of your regular responsibilities in this leading WAworkers’ compensation practice will include:

- Drafting legal documents and correspondence, includingletters of advice

- Preparing court documents for litigated matters

- Briefing Counsel and preparing matters for trial

- Attending conferences and hearings including mediations andconciliations

- Liaising with clients

About you

You will be an Australian-qualified lawyer with at least 4years' PAE. We welcome applications from candidates with experienceup to Senior Associate level. You are motivated and enthusiastic.You should be passionate about a career in law. You will havestrong legal skills and possess the ability to apply your criticalthinking. The work requires attention to detail, practicalproblem-solving skills and strategic thinking.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written andverbal communication skills.
