Installation Mechanic_4

We are currently looking for a **Lift Installation Mechanic**to be based in **Gold Coast, Queensland.*** 12 months fixed-term contract* Reports to the Project Manager* This role falls under the local EBA, and your hourly rates are determined by your classification.* Installation of New Equipment and Modernisation lifts and working to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring service targets are met.* Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service / handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager.* Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguard such property.* Perform work in accordance with the relevant lift industry codes and standards.* Comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or any employee.* Maintain and work on the Quality System.* Attend customer handing over inspection/service inspections on installation and modernization projects.* Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.* Experience in Adjustment / Commissioning work would be beneficial.* Working with heights, Basic Rigging and hold a valid driver’s license* Hold full working rights in Australia* Has relevant Lift experience and proven ability to work safely as part of a team or independently, depending on requirements.* Enjoys communicating with various levels of stakeholders and working closely with others in the field.* Solutions-oriented, independent, and well organized.* Willing to travel in & out of the region and able to work unsupervised.* Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.* Able to plan and prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.When you join Otis, you become part of an innovative global industry leader with a resilient business model.
