What you'll do

As an experienced Underground Loader/Mucker Operator you will be working a rotating 7/7 roster comprising of 12-hour shifts. Day shift covering from Thursday to Wednesday and Night shift covering Thursday night to Thursday morning. Operating a mix of CAT (1700/2900) and Sandvik equipment You will carry out duties such as -

- Operation of underground light vehicles and loader machines - bogging drives, loading trucks, stockpiling, backfilling
- Maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with site procedures and Prestart works
- Actively participate in pass/deployment meetings each shift.
- Report to the Shift Supervisor but working in a production crew as well as working independently

What you'll need

Aside from the below points, you will have familiarity of operating underground within a production mining environment. You will have a keen eye for detail, have a continuous improvement mindset and ability to adhere to quality, safety and performance standards.

- RII Loader Ticket and experience (Mandatory) - Skill and competency in operating Loaders and associated equipment (2+ years minimum)
- Open Manual Drivers Licence
- This role will require ability to complete a thorough Mine site medical and functional assessment as well as Drug and Alcohol testing.
- Sound technical knowledge, high safety standards.
- Effective communication skills
