To help us grow sustainably and protect more pets, we’re looking for a finance lead who can build clear, scalable financial systems that help us make smart decisions quickly.

About you

You’re a qualified accountant with sharp commercial instincts. You've worked for over 5 years in a high-growth environment and understand how good systems scale. You prioritise clarity, accurate data, clear dashboards, and actionable insights. You see finance as something to be automated, structured, and frictionless. You're pragmatic, hands‑on, and always looking for smarter ways to work. And you genuinely love pets 🐶🐱.

Your role

You’ll be our first finance hire, building the function from scratch and shaping how finance works at Fetch. We see finance as a product—something to be designed, automated, and optimised for speed and clarity. You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to embed finance into every key decision, automate workflows, and make sure we always have clean data, sharp insights, and the right tools to scale. You'll:

- Run financial reporting, forecasting, and monthly processes

- Build clear, effective models to inform hiring, pricing, growth, and funding decisions

- Automate finance workflows, leveraging AI and modern tools wherever possible

- Provide commercial insights on pricing, contracts, and partnerships

- Manage accounting, tax, payroll, and external providers, proactively solving issues

- Deliver sharp, concise board reporting, investor updates, and manage audit processes

- Manage our equity and ESOP to ensure a clean, accurate, and fair cap table
