About The Role

As the Radiology Clinical Director for the state, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and excellence of our imaging services, driving its strategic direction and growth. Your expertise and leadership will be critical in shaping the direction of our radiology services, promoting best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals, promoting quality, encouraging sub-specialty interests, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Your expertise will contribute to ongoing education and continuing professional development, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of diagnostic imaging advancements.

Your expertise in radiology, combined with your exceptional leadership skills, will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to deliver the highest standards of patient care, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the radiology team
- Oversee the quality and delivery of diagnostic imaging services
- Encourage sub-specialty interests and promote ongoing education
- Drive continuous improvement in patient care and service excellence
- Collaborate with our broader Capitol Health network for knowledge-sharing and best practices
- Foster a positive and supportive work culture, emphasising teamwork and collaboration

You Will Have

- RANZCR with high level proficiency in general radiology.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a radiology setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Subspecialty skills in areas such as Women’s Imaging, MSK, MRI, or interventional radiology are advantageous
