About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team in Armadale, Byford and surrounding locations. This is a casual role. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-quality kitchen environments such as luxury hotels or high-end restaurants. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food in accordance with menus, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation at all times.

- Prepare, cook, and serve food according to menus, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

- Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen in their absence.

- Maintain HACCP procedures and practices.

- Keep kitchen equipment and plant in good condition.

- Organize and implement food service.

- Plan and implement daily food preparation lists for effective production.

- Comply with all aspects of OH&S compliance.

- Assist in the induction of all staff.

- Attend team meetings as per meeting roster.

- Work in accordance with our Code of Conduct.

- Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work, Health, and Safety policies and procedures and relevant legislation.

About You

- Experience working in high-quality kitchen environments such as luxury hotels or high-end restaurants.

- Strong organizational and leadership skills.

- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.

- Knowledge of HACCP procedures and practices.

- Commitment to OH&S compliance and safe work practices.
