Baiada, one of Australia's largest poultry producers, is renowned for its premium products, including the popular Steggles and Lilydale free range brands. Baiada has been bringing Australian families together since 1919, delivering fresh poultry to local retailers and food service customers, while leading the industry with innovation and high standards of efficiency. Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join the dynamic dispatch team at Baiada in Mount Kuring-Gai.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong track record of operating forklifts in tight or confined spaces. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of food safety standards, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

About the Role:

- Operate forklifts, load and unload trucks
- Oversee and lead a small team of Forklift Operators
- Drive daily tasks, ensuring efficient operations and workflows within the distribution centre
- Collaborate with management to achieve production targets and KPIs
- Continuously monitor and improve distribution processes to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

- Current forklift licence
- Hold a drivers licence and have reliable transport
- Experience in high reach, counterbalance and double deep racking
- Proficient in computer operations
- Ability to learn quickly and navigate dispatch software
- Ability to work overtime when required
