ACROSS THE WAVES GROUP LIMITED (ABN 52 652 505 667) is looking for full time Chefs for their busy kitchens at their venues:
- The Waves Club Elliott Heads (Elliot Heads QLD 4670)
- The Waves Sports Club (Norville QLD 4670)
- The Waves Club Caloundra (Caloundra QLD 4551)

To be considered you must have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1-2 years of industry experience.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
- Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
- Demonstrate a keen Interest in growing food trends and techniques
- Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control
- Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning
- Stock ordering
- Team building and maintaining morale
- Labour cost control and assist the owners with rostering
- A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS and able to explain and enforce
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
- Ability to handle large service numbers
- Experience on pans and pasta section is highly desirable
- Above average customer care and service skills
- Training of junior team members on cooking techniques and procedures
- Assist with staff hiring and training
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
