Endorsed Enrolled Nurse- Residential Care

At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated Aged Care team.

Location: Clifton Hill

Job Type: Casual

Salary: $76,945.94 to $83,110.56 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation.

About the role

The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse coordinates and provides professional and quality care to clients who come into the centre for overnight respite care.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver a high standard of nursing care and support, consistent with policy, procedures and best practice guidelines whilst adhering to the principles of privacy and confidentiality
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans based on the principles of good dementia care
- Complete, review and action Care Plans and clinical assessments as required in collaboration with the Program Coordinator
- Support the rights and interests of the clients by following appropriate reporting mechanisms to meet Duty of Care requirements
- Manage and report any incident, accident, or untoward event as per policies and procedures

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who has a passion for supporting the mission of BSL and delivering excellence in your role.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:

- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA with medication endorsement
- Proven experience in providing high quality care to clients, and working with frail aged people and their carers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, solving routine issues as they arise and as an effective team member to achieve planned outcomes
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
